2- 4.15 pm  at the Methodist Church there on Market St .
We dance a variety of dances from Bulgaria / Armenia / Romania / Turkey/ E European  Roma dances / Latvia / Albania etc .. some simple,  some complex , some fast, some slow/ Some fun & some more contemplative  - Always a big mix ! I teach everything clearly in advance .. come + give it a go  - you are very welcome :)
Its £10 cash on the door or £9 in advance OR commit + pay  up front to all three then £24 .
Please let me know if you  intend to just turn up on the door .
 
We have a tea break ½ way + I bring teas + biscuits . You are welcome to bring cake !!

I’m leading a session of circle dances from around the world for women - a belated International women’s day event ! This one is for women only on March 30th . Many are mixed events .
There will be dances from Africa ; India ; UK ; France; Greece  & Eastern Europe too. A big mixed bag !  .. some very simple other more challenging ; some slow ; some lively .. you can sit out the ones you are not up for …Yes there are steps to be learnt which I teach in advance .. you don’t need to be “ a dancer “  and it’s ok to do variations !! If you can walk you can dance as they say in Africa 🤗☀️And we have a tea break with cake / biscuits ! 
The aim is community making ; uplifting and joyful and finding peace within too .
..wear soft flat shoes or barefoot and wear layers of clothes to peel off if you need to !  No partners are needed but you are welcome to bring a friend !
 
Best let me know if you intend to come as I reckon 23 is about the maximum in the hall .

Dancing part of the weekend cost;£150 -£165  Self Select – the price increase is due to the hall DOUBLING their prices – we have not !
What a RARE treat to dance to LIVE music ALL week end with 3 very talented + experienced musicians .
Start Friday night 8pm -10pm.Saturday 10am- 10pm with lunch +  afternoon breaks !. Dance  on the beach if we can  Saturday pm – tides + weather willing . . Dancing after tea  till 10pmish.Sunday 10am - 3pm.

 A circle dancing holiday on the Greek island of Paros with inspirational teachers Bethan Freedman and Sophia Hatch.
Dancing and other treats including:
·      An introduction to the Alexander Technique 
·      A trip with meal out to the ancient hill-top town of Lefkes. 
·      Dance demonstrations and tuition from our local Greek dancer friends.
Dancing takes place in a studio with a beautiful wooden floor, and meals are taken on the restaurant terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea with breath-taking views across to Naxos. 
The traditional family run Hotel Paros Philoxenia sits right by the sandy New Golden Beach with shallow waters perfect for swimming in.
The week includes full board and caters for most dietary needs:
·      £935 for a twin or double room. 
·      A single room supplement is £20 extra per night.
·      Option to pay an additional supplement for a superior room with a sea view

·      PLUS a small group discount of £45 per person (4 people or more)
·      There is a discount of £175 for non-dancing partners. 
 The week is designed for circle dancers with experience and therefore isn’t suitable for beginners.

·      Flights/travel/transfers and optional trips are not included in the price. 
 
Getting there:
Most people book a flight or a ferry crossing from Athens to Paros.
Paros airport and Parikia ferry port are both a 25-30 min taxi transfer to the hotel 
There are also ferry crossings from Santorini, Mykonos and Naxos.
